I personally think that at one point Sarafina and Scar were in a romantic relationship, but then Sarafina got pregnant with Nala, and Scar wasn’t the father, so Scar left. Of course, the father had also left because he didn’t want to be the second man, so Sarafina was forced to raise Nala alone. Anyway, I believe that this was one of the things that turned Scar evil.
Scar mates with Sarafina first. Then when Scar turns evil over jelousy of his brother, Sarafina doesn’t like Scar anymore and leaves him. Then Zira comes along and her and Scar mate.
I heard somwhere tht Nala is Sarafina’s and Scar’s daughter :S which is totally weird but i think it’s true coz Sarafina and Sarabi were in Pride Land in the same time when Scar/Taka and Mufasa were cubs(it says something like that in book) but the whole teory is so confusing I agree. And Nuka is Zira’s and Scar’s son, I think, I’m not sure for Vitani but Kovu isn’t Scar’s son and I don’t know who is his mom…that’s just my oppinion.

Scar isn’t Kovu’s son. (they say that Scar “took Kovu in”). Hell, technically, we don’t even know if Zera is Kovu’s actual mother. All we know is that Kovu was “CHOSEN” by Scar to kill Simba.

ok, my theory is, Sarafina (nala’s mother) was a rogue lioness from another pride (thats why her paws aren’t colored and the other lionesses’ paws are) who joined mufasa’s pride for some reason, and had nala, who inherited her uncolored paw trait. Mufasa can’t possibly be nala’s father because thatd just be weird, and it cant be scar cuz, face it, she looks nothing like him. so her father must just be some rogue lion whos out of the picture. its way possible.
Well, even if the father WAS Scar, Simba and Nala would still be related. Scar is Simba’s uncle, after all. =) Hm, this movie sure is sketchy! lol But I love it.

I would like to say, Also at 3:01 Nala’s paws aren’t colored in when she’s an adult either, which makes me believe that it’s a trait from her mother, & or father(: Whoever that may be.. Lol.
Okay, So On Nala I say the reason why her paws aren’t colored, is because Sarafina doesn’t have her’s colored in the movie, { 1:19 & 2:01 } Though I do wonder about the part when at 1:57 Sarafina’s paws are colored in, strange I know & hey, everyone forgets & makes mistakes. (:
